Buckle up as Val shares how she unexpectedly became a full-time caregiver to her husband, Chris, after he sustained a spinal cord injury (SCI) in 2020. She shares her story of the trauma, depression, and anger that came after, and how they have overcome it to become a stronger couple that advocates together for others just starting out on their journey. Val also shares how this life-altering accident impacted their children, marriage, mental health and how she made her return as a physical therapist assistant.
