the long awaited episode is finally here…it’s time to talk about HAIR! but not just any hair-all the beauty that is black hair!! for black women, our hair is our history, our present, and our future so there’s beauty and trauma that comes along with it. join us for part one of the hair series where we get into the relationship between black hair and our ancestors, our childhoods, and so much more!!

we’re big advocates for black girl luxury, but did you know that luxury isn’t all about material things? as we settle into our new lives, we tap into how luxury looks & feels different for all of us as well as the barriers that hold certain groups back from attaining the “soft life”. sit back & relax bc sis…you deserve!

let’s be very clear: “you’re too loud!” has and will forever stand with the right to choose for anyone that can get pregnant. with the recent supreme court roe v wade ruling, we (probably like you) are SICK! debrief with us as we discuss the dispropportionate impacts of this ruling, how roe v wade is about way more than abortion, and the hypocrisy of sustaining life in the united states. our country needs a lot more love and a lot less hate, so yall can always count on us to get loud with you!

we'reee backkk for season 4 y'all! this week we get into all the mess that's been going on since we've been off like the ongoing war on women's bodies, the audacity of inflation, the dire need for gun reform, and so much more. are y'all tired?? we definitely are!!! as almost corporate gworls we also get into what the pod will look like going forward - y’all already know we not turnin the volume down anytime soon :)

as black women, we pride ourselves on being part of such an exceptional, multidimensional community that can’t be boxed in! society works really hard to reduce black women, and the black community, to a monolith which actually has very harmful, real life effects. join us this week to hear about some of our own personal stories, examples of how we suffer from this dangerous concept, and black women that are completely breaking out of the box and doing it WELL! can you tell we love being black women?!

history has been made by black women AGAIN!!! this week we celebrate the absolutely iconic justice ketanji brown jackson!! as incredible as her confirmation is, it wouldn’t be us if we didn’t break down the racist microagressions & straight violence she had to go through just to get a seat at the table. *deep heavy sigh* we aint been this loud in a minute yall…let’s buckle down!

yall know if there’s one thing we gon do…it’s beat this face!! this week we take a deep dive into the complex relationship between black women and makeup. from wearing shades 6x too light for our complexion in middle school to the trial and error phases of learning what worked for us….it’s a whole journey!! join us as we laugh at the mistakes of the past, think about how black women run the world of beauty, and find ways to support black woman owned beauty companies!

after a few trips (and an unfortunate airport experience) we’re backkk and getting loud about a phenomenon so many people face - imposter syndrome! we dive into how it has affected us, the importance of holding organizations accountable, and share tips that have helped us advocate for ourselves. to all the women and bipoc people out here, this ones for you. & if you haven’t heard this today, you deserve to have a seat AND voice at the table!!
