You're Too Show: A Sonic the Hedgehog Fancast

Your two hosts become detectives to uncover the tip of the iceberg of the truth of #CHUCKGATE and you won't believe what we find out.

Eggman creates a teaching robot who wins all our hearts; Bokkun is back and he's still the cutest thing that ever was; Sonic is filled with Ennui. Sonic X still rules!

Sound the alarm. Summon the race car police. Grandpa's name is revealed and so is A CONSPIRACY. Robotnik foreshadows his own loss with a bad robot name. Nick is terrified of spiders and pictures of spiders.

hahaha nick has to look at this blurb: imagine eight legs doing a tap dance on your spine. Thirteen legs kicking a can can (three keep the two spiders balanced.)

But Nick ALSO gets to post the final blurb, and so he gets to type an eloquent response: :`(

It's somebody's birthday! See if you can guess who while listening to this special mystery episode. We watch an episode of Sonic X, interview director Chris Columbus, and make all sorts of nonsensical mouth sounds in no particular order.

Since Caleb was out of town last week, here's the second part of our episode with Zolani Stewart. We talk about level design, Sonic's lack of agency, and liking things that are hard to like.

Caleb and Nick give each other notes on their podcast performance so far. Sonic X provides insight into Dr. Eggman's aesthetic. Speed Reading is back with a twist. Sonic X gets even more anime. Nick and Caleb discuss robot ethics. Optimus Prime makes some questionable decisions. Speed Reading!

We're sorry in advance for hitting you with such an existential thinker at the end, but sometimes we have to ask the big questions.

Join us for the first part of our conversation with Zolani Stewart about the infamous Sonic '06, widely regarded as the "worst Sonic game of all time."

We talk about ironic disengagement, heroic failure, and Sonic's awkward romance. (He KISSES a HUMAN PRINCESS, y'all)

Special guest merritt k joins us to talk about the game where Sonic finally does a swear: Shadow the Hedgehog.

This whole episode is rated NSFW10+, which means it's not safe for work, especially if you're older than ten. It's an episode you should skip if you are nervous about swears, doing a murder, or loud impressions of crocodiles.

Check out merritt k @merrittk on twitter, and listen to her podcasts Woodland Secrets and Dadfeelings!

Praise the gods of anime because it's time for SONIC X! Finally, all the characters in one place: Knuckles, Tails, Big the Cat, everyone's favorite kid Chris, the whole bunch.

We're recording an episode on Shadow the Hedgehog with merritt k (Woodland Secrets, Dad Feelings, @merrittk on Twitter) this Thursday -- email or tweet your questions to get them on the show!
