[S1 #36 Being Jack of All Trades is Definitely Not for the Faint-Hearted and Living Off Grid with Jake Green] [About Jake Green] Overkill is underrated - My Motto (stolen from my friend). This bio will seem like a lot, and it is. I am a jack(ass) of all trades and definitely a master of none. But I absolutely love to have a go at anything and everything that I find interesting.
I host two political podcasts, a soccer/football podcast, and am producing three more for other hosts starting in 2024. Politics is something I've become passionate about since 2020 and I'll continue to push for change within the USA as my knowledge and ideas expand.
I am a self-funded and independent documentary filmmaker, having produced two feature docs with a third on the way. My biggest skill in this regard is operating on a shoestring budget even though the films have required an abundance of travel and endless time and hard work.
I'm also beginning to get into traditional movies, producing a movie that will shoot next year in Atlanta. In addition to that one, I've got 6 other scripts that I'm looking to option or produce in the coming years.
My wife and I are also building a community in Montana, completely off-grid and very remote, with the goal of becoming self-sufficient within the next ten years.
In this episode, we talked about: 1. The Jack of All Trades, Master of None Mindset 2. Bitcoin 3. Learn When to Go Hard and Easy on Yourself 4. From Dumb Movies to Filmmaking 5. Building a Community on a Mountain 6.
