Episode 11 transitions into an era where Azande finds herself again, gaining a new and fresh perspective about what kind of life she desires for herself and her children, and making all the changes required to get them there.

In this Episode, Yourstobarebear brings you a special guest by the name of Dr Yolisa Mgobhozi who is a professional counselling phycologist. Azande and Dr Yolisa discuss grief and the impact it can have on one especially when unrecognised or displaced. 

This conversation hopes to encourage anyone who may be currently going through a grieving process to recognise grief for what it is and understand the different emotions that it can bring about. Dr Yolisa emphasises that there is life after loss, life waiting for you to live to the fullest. With each grieving individual choosing to find help or accepting support from people around you, healing is a possibility.

In a season where one has to deal with the difficult feelings of loss & grief, keeping your faith intact can be challenging. Losing someone or something important to you can leave you with so many unanswered questions thus shifting your focus more to the tormenting feelings of pain and suffering. 
Faith (The assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen) is the one thing that can contribute positively towards moving you from that place of hurt. Moving in faith can see you through to a place of healing, a place of light and comfort, knowing that things will get better for you. 

We hope this Episode can encourage you to take that leap of faith in whatever situation you may be facing, may you remember that God loves you and that He WILL see you through. Just hold on to His promises and what He says about your life.

In this Episode Azande shares what her healing journey entailed as she navigated through it, she speaks to how she had to identify her points of pain and then approach them one by one in order to get through each of them. Azande shares how she has put in a lot of work over the years to get herself in the space and state of mind that she is in now and hopes it inspires the next person to prioritise their healing journey at all costs. It is never too late to choose yourself and to start working towards the best version of yourself.

In this episode Azande opens up about her finances, from the time she was financially stable and secure to a time she found herself over indebted and stretched over a period of time, having to try managing all the financial commitments she was in, to how she has now rebuilt herself from that place, developed new patterns/habits and she is grateful to have cleared all that debt and through adjusting her lifestyle.

With this Azande shares how she only started assessing her relationship with money late in her 20’s and has established how she chooses to associate with money.

The value of family, love and a good support structure is what this Episode hopes to showcase. Azande says what better way to talk about your support structure than to have the conversation with her actual support. Join us as we journey through conversation on the time of the loss this family encountered together, the period of healing and where Azande has managed to get to now.

In this Episode Azande shares her relationship with her in-laws before and after the loss of her husband. She speaks on the expectations that were placed on her and how she had to stand up for herself and her children to create a space to heal better. How she thought they would try and maintain a good relationship, more especially for the sake of the children, however it didn’t last long because of some difficult decisions that she had made and how uncomfortable it became for them. An additional lesson for her in this was that no matter how hard you may try to please and make people happy, they will always receive you from their own place of understanding. She eventually took the decision of letting them be and trusted God with her journey of raising her kids without their support.

In this episode Azande shares some of her deepest scars caused by her late husband, which he never got the chance to account for, explain or even apologise to. Over the years she has had to give herself all those apologies and heal parts of her that were left with the pain and the confusion.
