I am joined in the pod to discuss Liverpool's struggles this season by lifelong Liverpool fans from across the globe. Lakunle Yussuf in Lagos, Kenneth Onyekwe in Barbados, Sola Egunjobi in Canada and Akin Dawodu in London. 

They gave their very different reasons for this poor defence of the Premier League title, the form of Mo Salah and Ibrahima Konate and the Manager, Arne Slot.

Engineer Kowope and his gang of Jargobann and SportingTheory (Moyosore Abiodun and David Okosun, to the uninitiated) gathered in the pod to review the promotion race into the NPFL currently going on in the NNL. Sporting Lagos and Akwa United seem primed for immediate return "by faith" according to one of them.

With only 12 days to the scheduled start of the 2026 WAFCON in Morocco, CAF confirmed the fear of many in football that it was postponed. Amara Obah gathers three journalists and followers of the women's game into the pod to discuss this postponement of the tournament. 

Suo Chappel, Joy Ojeabulu in Lagos, Nigeria were joined by Lawrence Baidoo in Ghana to discuss this situation and the implications for the women's game in the continent. 

Rio Ferdinand believes that if Arsenal get over the line and win this Premier League title this season that the squad is primed to dominate the Premier League for years to come. 

I gathered Arsenal fans including former Red Star Belgrade, Vitesse and Hearts striker Abiola Dauda, Emirates ST holder and podcast regulars Kunle Aderibigbe, BackoftheNet Podcast host, Matt Smith and FIFA Player Intermediary, Peter Ntephe in Houston, Texas. 

Dauda wants the quadruple, Aderibigbe wants the Champions League while Matt and Peter just want the Premier League title.  We had fun

Baba Olomi, Samuel Areo and his mates Muftau Adewale and Victor Opone run through the matches of Match Day 29 of the NPFL. Baba Olomi was helped at the beginning by his canine companion who insisted on joining in the conversation. 

Rivers United consolidated on their top position with Rangers keeping a close eye on them..

Engineer Kowope and his gang of Victor Opone and Atinuke Esan review match day 28 of the NPFL. Ikorodu got thumped in Benin, Rangers International go top, Remo Stars find a win while Enyimba could be in relegation trouble.

Peter Nieketien started representing Nigeria from his secondary school days via the YSFON tournaments across Europe. He went on to play for the Flying Eagles and was part of the famous Chile '87 set. 

Nieketien was also part of the Maroc AFCON 88 squad and holds Manfred Hoerner in high regard. He was in the pod with Calvin 'Emeka Onwuka to look back on his playing career. 

Host, 'Engineer Kowope' gathered first-timers into the pod to review match day 27 of the NPFL. A league where no team is still safe from relegation even when they are as high as 9th on the league table after 27 matches.

Arsenal shook off the cobwebs from Wolverhampton to march into enemy territory across North London and destroyed hosts Tottenham Hotspurs 4-1. A few hours after the final whistle, I was joined in the pod by Richard Awe and David Ademola who are City fans and Gabriel Mayowa Kolade and Peter Ntephe to discuss what this means for the title race.
