Arsenal dropped two points at relegation-bound Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek and face Spurs in the North London Derby at the weekend. I was able to gather my friends from across the world to preview the title race in the English Premier League. Matt Smith and Kunle Aderibigbe in London, Peter Ntephe in Houston, Texas were in the Arsenal corner. Femi Kumuyi is of Spurs, Kenneth Onyekwe in Barbados is a Liverpool fan while Bola Adegbonmire supports Manchester United.

Part 2 of the AFCON 2025 Semi-final preview, Calvin 'Emeka Onwuka is joined in the pod by his mates who have watched many AFCON tournaments: Okey Aguoru, Akin Dawodu in London, Peter Ntephe in Houston and Kenneth Onyekwe in Barbados to look forward to this match. 

The consensus is that irrespective of the result of the match against Morocco, coach Eric Chelle is building something special with the Super Eagles, like Clemens Westerhof did in the mid-90s.

The Nigeria Super Eagles take on hosts, the Atlas Lions of Morocco in the #AFCON2025 semi-final in Rabat on Wednesday, 14/01/2026. Ghanaian, Daniel Laryea has been chosen as the centre-referee for the match while South African Tom Abongile would lead in the VAR Room. 

I am joined in the pod by ACLSports.com's Football Chief, Fisayo Dairo, Samuel Areo and our regular Abdulquadri while they were in Rabat. They are unanimously surprised by the choice of Mr Laryea for a match of this magnitude.
