This week Matt and I were out and about as we are wrapping up our summer time schedules. This week they both had separate conversations with two guys who have built up quite a summer camp culture in their churches. They have taken their summer camps to another level and we have seen them first hand so we wanted them to share how they were able to build the hype for summer camp.
Some things covered:

How Brian got 70 students to come to camp who never came before
How Dayne has over 100 HS students serving for his JH camp
Hacks on getting students to get friends to come

It's a good conversation and something we all can learn from them and their ministry.

This is part 1 of a 2-part conversation with Matthew Ferrer, our co-host of this podcast, talking about hacks in having a student led band. Matthew and Justin discuss about how to start, develop and recruit leaders and students in the goals of having a worship band lead by students.
Matthew will give you some hacks on where to begin and how to develop bands and really how to unleash students to lead their peers in worship.
Enjoy.

In this episode we welcome Rachel Ceballos, college pastor at CCV, to chat hacks in how to have tough conversations with students so they want to come back and still be a part of the ministry.

We talk through how do we talk about porn, homosexuality, and other tough topics, not our stances, but how do you talk about these things in way that allows people to have room at the table despite not agreeing with you.
