One of the greatest struggles we face today is in the area of pornography. We are bombarded with images on a daily basis and we in many cases do not know what to do, what to say, or how to help. This session will provide you valuable information on how to engage in this subject in the areas of reality, truth, and hope.

At certain times in our faith journey we have doubt. We doubt our beliefs, doubt the certainty in the faith we profess to follow, and doubt whether our future has any direction. Is it OK to doubt? What does the Christian worldview have to say about doubt and uncertainty?

Caleb Brown on behalf of The Mustard Seed. In this seminar, we will talk about the basics of homelessness & poverty, how the Mustard Seed is working to change lives and bring hope to the most vulnerable, and what our response should be as followers of Jesus.

Since we were little, we’ve all been met with the question, what do you want to be when you grow up? Fast forward and for some it’s, “what do you want to do after school? What’s your five year plan?” Let’s be honest, YOU HAVE NO CLUE. This has lead to generations of people placing unnecessary pressures on themself. During this talk we’re putting the squeeze on identity to see what comes from it and apply that to a practical and biblical perspective.

This seminar will focus on the importance of relationship-building between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous people in Canada and how we as followers of Christ can move towards right relationship with one another. It will focus on what “homecoming” means to Indigenous people as it relates to the land and past atrocities that have taken place against Indigenous people. We all have a need to belong and be loved and this is something that has been a core issue for Indigenous people in Canada with current consequences we see in various ways stemming from the past. Reconciliation has historically been done poorly. So what can we do to help do it in a God-honouring and loving way that focuses on relationship? Let’s zoom in on practical ways to build those relationships and change our mindset toward what evangelism and reconciliation is.

Join us as we break down and discuss some common experiences of mental health like anxiety and depression. With helpful resources and practical steps, we will talk about what can be done if you are struggling and how to identify and support those who are struggling. We will also hear about how our common internal struggles can be faced, lived with and integrated into meaningful life stories of following Jesus.
