‘We have not seen a learned jurist who Fasted less than Ibn Masood (ra).’

Ibn Masood (ra) prioritises Salah over optional Fasting as the former is more beloved to him.

One ought to prioritise a circle of knowledge over optional prayers: servitude to parents rather than an optional Hajj; congregational prayer over a circle of Zikir.

strengthen it with certainty

remind it of mortality 

make it aware of the calamities of the world 

warn of the disasters life may bring

show things that may suddenly change with the passing of days

tell it narratives people of past

tell it of those came before.

There is no Islam for the one who does not pray.

There is no share in Islam for the one who abandons Salah.

Ibn Masood (ra) offers all optional prayers during the day & night incessantly except Salatul Doha.

Ibn Masood (ra) always wore fine garments and expensive perfume.

Whoever offers Salah in congregation sincerely for Allah SWT for 40 days catching the opening Takbeer is then absolved from hypocrisy and the fire (Tirmidhi).

'Raise the honour of your dwellings with some of your prayers.'

'Illuminate your dwellings by praying the Sunnah therein.'

Seeing Allah SWT is the ultimate joy in the hereafter.

Jumma in the hereafter is referred to as The Day of Beauty.

Rushing to attend Salah so as to attain the opening Takbeer is preferable.

The 5 Great Prophets & The Father of humanity offered these 4 Rakat regularly;

It's an auspicious time where the doors of mercy open;

The Messenger ﷺ prolonged this prayer to gain more mercy;

The rewards are equal to 4 rakat during the night;

You get the rewards for freeing a slave from Bani Ismael and

The rewards are greater than 27 times as compared to other optional prayers during the day.

After reaching Tabook, Umar (ra) suggests to return to Al Medina, yet it was Umar (ra) during his reign who dealt with the Romans.

Ibn Masood (ra) sleeps during the first part of the night, then prays till dawn where he finally offers to Witir prayer.

The sound of buzzing bees could be heard till morning (Ihyaa).
