What an excellent gift! What an excellent present a word of wisdom is!

A Muslim hears it, he then wraps it up to gift it to his brother (Musnad).

There is no Sadaqah (charity) like knowledge that is spread (Tabarani).

The best Sadaqah is that a Muslim learns knowledge and then teaches it to his Muslim brother (Targeeb).

Partake of garlic for it has a cure for over 70 ailments (Musnad).

Seeking Sacred Knowledge

The Messenger ﷺ spoke in a focused and precise manner - whereas you people talk in a haphazard way (Musnad).

Every orator who gives a sermon will have the sermon presented before him on the Day of Rising

(Abu Nuay).

Seeking Sacred Knowledge

Verily, a good deed leaves a radiance in the face, a light in the heart, causes the expansion of sustenance, strength of the body and love in the hearts of the created beings.

A Sin, on the other hand, leaves darkness on the face, estrangement in the heart, weakness in the body, causes harm to ones sustenance and detestation in the hearts of created beings (Haafiz Ibn Qay'veem [rah]).

The virtue of knowledge is greater than worship

(Baihaqi).

The best worship is seeking knowledge (Tabarani).

Spreading knowledge and teaching it are amongst, the best works of goodness and I am satisfied with what Allah SWT has opened for me (ie of this most priceless of deeds) Al Tamheed.

The Messenger ﷺ used to prefer silent Zhikr which could not be heard even by the guardian (Angels [as]), as being 70 times superior (ie to the loud Zhikr).

Any servant who lays his head down on his bed and remembers Allah (SWT) Most High will then be written as remembering (ie Allah [SWT]) until he awakes - whenever he awakens (Ibn Al Mubarak).

"O Allah (SWT), exalt Muhammad ﷺ, Your servant and Messenger ﷺ and exalt the Believers, men and women - and the Muslims, men and women (Ibn Hibaan).

Much Zhikrullaah and Salaatun Nabee ﷺ banishes poverty ( Ithaaf).

Send Salaah upon me ﷺ, for this is a Zakaah for you (Ahmad).

Whoever desires to be given a full reward when invoking Blessings upon my household should recite,

O Allah (SWT), exalt Muhammad ﷺ the Prophet, his Wives the Mothers of the Believers, his offspring and the people of his Household - as You exalted Ibraaheem (A.S.) -truly You are the Praiseworthy, Majestic (Abo Dawood).

Whoever likes this that Allah SWT is pleased with him when he is presented in the Court of Allah SWT should then recite Salaah upon me ﷺ in abundance (Musnad).

Undoubtedly, the one amongst you to gain the quickest relief on the Day of Judgement from its horrors and the reckoning will be the one who recited Salaah upon me ﷺ in abundance (Musnad).

'Recite Salaah upon me ﷺ (then) Allah (SWT) will send mercy upon you (Ibn Adee).

Adorn your assemblies with invoking Blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ (Ibn Assakir).

The Kalima & The Water Jug

"Glorification with the praise of Allah (SWT) on the page (ie record) of the Believer is better for him_(ie whether you comprehend it or not) than_for golden mountains _of this_world to move about with him (ie at his disposal) (Baihaqi).

Allah (SIT) has not favoured anyone of His servants with anything better than that He (SWT) gives him to His Zhikr (Tabarani).

"Strengthen the bond between you and your Lord (SWT) with an abundance of Zikir (Ibn Majah).

"Allah (SWT) Says, "I (SWT) am with My servant when he remembers Me (SWT) and his lips move to remember Me (SWT) (Ahmad).

Glorification when seeking a need is better than a camel full of milk which one of you brings during a year of famine (Ibn Abi Shahbah).

"When a group of people gather, the closest of them to Allah (SWT) is the one who begins by mentioning Allah (SWT) until they are all flowing in His Remembrance.

When a group of people gathers, the one furthest from Allah (SWT) is the one who begins with evil and then makes them all engrossed with it

(Abu Nu'aym).

Shaytaan comes to a person when he is ready to sleep and then makes him fall asleep before he finishes (ie or even starts) his Zhikr (Tirmidhi).

The doors of acceptance are opened for the person who has been granted the ability to make du' aa,

(Al Munsanaf).

"The doors of Paradise are opened for the one who makes du'aa (Haakim).

"There is nothing of greater value and esteem in the sight of Allah (SWT) than du'aa (Tirmidhi).

The right measure of supplication compared to one's righteous conduct (ie deeds) should be (just) like the right quantity of salı that is put in one's food

(Al-Musanaf).

Allah (SWT) is "'Kareeman" (The Abundant, Most Generous easily accessible Giver of endless good) and He (SWT) loves the generous people (Ibn Asaakir).

Mankind gives Sadaqah only after dodging 70 devils (Ahmad).

Sadaqa - charity protects your children!

Indeed, Allah (SWT) tends to a single date or morsel from you until it grows, just as you tend to your foal or young camel until it grows.

(Ahmad, Musnad).

Verily, if Allah (SWT) Honoured and Glorified be He, wants to turn something small into something great, He (SWT) can do so.

And if He (SWT), wants to turn something great into something small, He (SWT) can do so, (Imam Suyootee [rah] in his Ad Durr Al-Manthoor).

A servant does not give a good charity except that Allah (SWT) leaves a good successor for his legacy.

(Haafiz Husayn ibn Harb as-Sulamee, Birr).

Similarly, The Messenger ﷺ had said,

A servant does not excel in charity but that Allah (SWT) then bestows Blessings upon his progeny.

(Musnad).
