One of the signs of His true servants is...
Those who are fond of My love just as the boy is fond of people's love (Bayhaqi)
And...
Those who help one another in struggling for My sake (Tirmidhi).
"The more the servant loves his Master (SWT) then the less will he love otker objects- thus they will decrease in number.
The less the servant loves his Master (SWT) then the more he will love other objects thus they will increase in number. "
(Majmoo Fataawah).
All people go to Allah (SWT) after their death, but the happy person is the one who goes to Allah (SWT) whilst still alive (Timeless Seeds Of Advice).
Remember Me (SWT) in which I have commanded you- then I (SWT) will remember you regarding what I have compelled Myself to do for your benefit (ie to reward, forgive and Bless (Ibn Abee Hatim).
"...they forgot Allah (SWT), so He (SWT) forgot them..
(Surah Tawbah 9 : 67).
Haafiz Ibn Qayyeem (rah) had clarified.
"Allah (SWT) has caused His servant to forget the interests of himself and the reason for his happiness, success, prosperity and righteousness. All of this will simply not even cross his mind - thus his determination will be directed towards other (futile and worthless) things.
The servant will be brought on the Day of Judgement and Allah (SWT) will ask him,
Did I not grant you hearing, sight, wealth and children?
Did I not (SWT) also exploit the animals to you, leaving you to to master the earth?
Indeed have you ever even thought of this inevitable Day?
He will reply (ie with shame) in the negative.
Thus Allah (SWT) will say to him, "Today I (SWT) will forget you as you forgot Me (Tirmidhi).
