He is ever forgiving to the remorseful Surah 17:25.

They are those who remember their sins in solitude and thereupon seek forgiveness for them (Ibn Jarir).

If the unbeliever knew how much mercy Allah SWT possessed, then he would not have despaired of Paradise (Bukhari).

Allah SWT Honoured and Glorified be He, will forgive people on the Day of Rising in such a way that has never even occurred in the heart of any human-being. (Ibn Al Mubaarak in his ZUHD)

Illness is charity (to His servant) from Allah SWT

The Abundant, Most Generous Easily Accessible Giver of Endless Good.

The Youth

"Your-Lord (SWT) Most High wonders at the youth who lives as though he has no desire (Baihaqi).

"Verily, if the Believing youth swears by Allah (SWT), He (SWT) (Cestainly) would fulfil it (Abu Dawood).

"Indeed, goodness is (almost) exclusively during youth (AL-JAAMI LI'AKHLAAQ).

"I have not compared youth to anything except like something I once carried in my sleeve and then dropped as per Imam Ahmed (rah).

Al-Jab'baar can be translated 2 ways:

The Ever-Compeller and The Ever-Restorer SWT.

One's faith corresponds with one's knowledge thus the more ones knowledge of one's Lord SWT increases, the more ones faith increases.

And the closest way to attain this is through the contemplation of His SWT Names and Attributes from the Qur aan.

Whoever would like to know what Shaytaan's authority over him is should then look at what he does in privacy (Baihaqi).

And The Ever Doer of Good (SWT) is the most honourable of all that is known - thus the knowledge of His Names is the most noble of all sciences

(Haafiz Ibn al-Arabee [rah]).

"This Name (ie Allah [SWT]) is so unique and powerful that no tyrant, even those who claimed godhood, ever dared naming themselves with it.

Similarly, our Beloved Messenger ﷺ himself had supplicated. "O Allah (SWT)! I ﷺ beg from You (SWT) through the medium of you being Allah (SWT).. (Abo Dawood).

As a trait of Allah (SWT) being a Jab'baar (compeller) is a trait of strength, might and perfection -for His Compulsion is one of Justice and Wisdom indeed, it is a trait that coerces the tyrants and forces the wrongdoers to their knees.

However, when it refers to humans, it is a trait of deficiency, injustice and tyranny.

A Glimpse into The Divine Mercy

"He (SWT) gives His servant an opportunity to disobey Him (SWT), helps him (ie by allowing him or her to use His Blessings in the process) but then covers him (ie so nobody is aware) till he satisfies himself committing the sin - (SubhaanAllah) all these (factors) are the strongest motive of His love ( ie in not wanting to punish), Haafiz Ibn Qayyeem (rah).

"Were it not for the calamities of the life of this world, we would then proceed to the Afterlife bankrupt, (Haafiz Ibn al-Jawzee [rah] in his Sifatus Safwah).

"Allah (SWT) Created every soul and wrote their lives, their provision and (also) their tribulations,"

(Tirmidhi, ibn Masood ra).

"I do not know what is greater -the Blessings of Allah (SWT) which He (SWT) expands for me or what He (SWT) removes from me.

(Baihaqi).

"By Allah (SWT)! Life is either wealth or poverty and I (ra) do not care of which of them I am afflicted (for) the right of Allah (SWT) is due in either of them.

(Namely) lf it is wealth (then) kindness is due (ie to others) - and ifit is poverty (then) endurance is due.

Surah 26 The Poets v60-68

Session 9

Pharaoh drowned in The Red Sea.

The Earth & Stars wept for them not.

When the sea was left in its

state and Pharaoh saw it, he

became frightened and

confirmed within himself what

he already knew from before,

that it was from the Lord of the

Throne. He became regretful,

however, his regret at that time

would not benefit him. He

displayed a contrary feeling to

his army than what he was

feeling and said to them, "Look

how the sea split apart for me so that I could catch these

servants who fled from me.'' He

did not have any intention to go

with his army in that passage

Jibreel (ra) came there in the

guise of a cavalier on a horse.

When he passed by Pharaoh's

horse, he neighed to it. Then

Jibreel entered the sea and

Pharaoh's horse, which was out

of his control by then, also

followed him. When his army

saw him entering the sea, they

all entered behind him also.

Then when all of them had

entered, Allah ordered Moosa

(as) to strike the sea with his

staff. When he struck it, the sea

returned to its former state and

no one of Pharaoh's army

survived.

Witchcraft

Prophet Musa (A.S.) met the leader of the magicians and said to him, if I defeat you, will you believe in me and bear witness that what we brought is the truth?

The magician said, tomorrow, I will be able to produce a type of magic that cannot be defeated by another magic. By Allah! If you defeat me, I will believe in you and testify to your truth.

When the magicians realised that Moosa (A.S.) was not demonstrating magic, they cast into prostration saying, We believe in the Rabb of Haaroon and Moosa.'" The verse does not say that they fell into prostration, but says that they were "cast intoprostration." This denotes that they were helpless in the matter and were forced to prostrate by the truth of what they saw. They even forgot the tyranny of Firawn at that moment.

The Pharaoh's wife

While the contest between vice and virtue was in progress, the Pharaoh's wife kept herself informed of the minute to minute developments and when she learned that Musa (A.S.) had emerged victorious, she at once declared her adherence to the True Faith.

When the Pharaoh was informed of his wife's defection, he ordered that a huge rock be thrown upon her. When Asiyah saw the rock coming, she raised her eyes in supplication to Allah SWT who took away her soul so that the rock fell on her lifeless body (Qurtobi).

The first to crucify was Firawn.
