Hey everyone! Today I have an amazing guest on this episode, she happens to not only work alongside my bf but she's also a great friend of mine, Ellie. In this episode Ellie and I talk about how work can impact mental health and how to cope from responsibilities you take on to work so that you don't end up carrying them outside of work and into home. This was such an interesting conversation because it just opened up my viewpoint of how work truly does have such a big impact of how we may view ourselves. Hope you all enjoy!

Hello everyone! I’m finally back, feeling more motivated to once again talk about my life and my experiences so please join me for this new episode where I talk about where I’ve been, how I’ve been doing, and what my plan is for my life.

Trigger warning for anyone who is or who has self harmed in the past.. this is a really heavy subject and I’ll be talking about my own personal journey with self harm and how I eventually contemplated suicide. I’m sharing this to raise awareness as September is National Suicide Prevention month.

In this I’ll be talking about what PTSD is and what the symptoms are as well as the different ways in which we can treat it. I also mention my personal experience with being diagnosed with PTSD and how I’m able to cope with it now.

I’ll be talking about what trauma is exactly and the different types of symptoms one can experience that is associated with emotional and psychological trauma.. as well as discussing what dissociation is and how I personally experienced dissociation.

I’ll be talking about the overall premise of this book, provide some annotations and give some resources relating to the book... as well as sharing my personal opinion of how I felt about this book.. I’ll give you a hint, I didn’t finish it.

In this episode I discuss the different themes in this book that relate to real life instances going on. I also talk about the main characters struggle with her identity and her journey with grief. I’m not confident enough to say that this is a spoiler free book discussion so please listen at your own risk.
