We have the privilege and honour to announce that the Zambian Finance Minister Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane has graciously accepted Zambia Blog Talk Radio invitation to be a Special Guest on the show. Dr. Musokotwane has a long illustrious and dedicated career in the service of Zambia. Before his appointment as Finance Minister, he had previously held positions of Secretary to the Treasury, and Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet. Dr. Musokotwane is also credited with having penned three books on the informal financial markets in Zambia, the quest for a stable currency, and the relationship between devaluation and inflation, all written with the Zambian context and perspective. This show is billed as a sequel to the Lusaka Indaba held in Lusaka in April 2009. The show will present yet another opportunity for the Zambian Diaspora and Zambians in Zambia to talk to Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane about the state of the Zambian economy, investment opportunities, business climate and incentives that would attract the Diaspora to be lead investors in Zambia.

Ing'utu Palmer was one of the delegates that travelled to Zambia to attend and represent the Zambian Diaspora at the National Indaba on the global economic crisis held in Lusaka. Ing'utu has graciously accepted to join us on the show to share her personal experiences and insight gleamed from her participation in the Indaba deliberations.

Professor Luo's work in the Zambian health sector goes way back before she even became minister of health. She is the president of the society for women and AIDS in Zambia. She is well known for her project called TASINTHA which was designed to reform sex workers into a regular lifestyle.
