Kamulile Phiri is the Founder & Senior Pastor at Issachar Love Center in Lusaka, he is also the author of an historical and unique examination into the rise of pentecostalism in Zambia titled; "From Azuza to Zambia" Pstr Phiri joins to discuss the role of clergy in national politics and development. Why was the declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation more contentious than unifying? Has Zambian clergys' involved in partisan politics contributed to the national divide?

Anotida Chikumbu is a PhD student and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of History at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He currently tutors the history of ''Power and Violence in South Africa. He previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Economic History at the University of Zimbabwe where he taught ''Economics for Economic Historians'' and ''Labour History''. His broader research focus is on aspects of 20th century war economics, colonial military and labour history. He is particularly interested in the nature of internal conflict and the processes of post-conflict transition and particularly as they relate to states in sub-Saharan Africa. His primary research interest is the disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration (DDR) of ex-combatants, given the critical importance of (DDR) to the consolidation of post-conflict security and development. One of his most notable published works is Re-integration of Ex-combatants into Civilian Life: The Case of Southern Rhodesia, (Colonial Zimbabwe), 1939-1955. Chikumbu is currently working on the publication of a book entitled ''From Combatants to Contractors'' with the US Naval College: Rhode Island.

The activities pursed in Lukamantano Village are: • Educational project with a school where over 500 students (from preschool to grade 9) study and receive a daily meal, for many of them the only one of the day; • Health project with a Day Hospital, a mobile clinic that goes around villages to vaccinate children between the age of 0 to 5 years, a home care service and a service center for people with HIV / AIDS with administration of antiretroviral medication; • Social project that includes many activities aimed at creating employment and self sustainability such as carpentry, tailoring, milling, farming, a women club, youth club, distance support of vulnerable children and the creation of cooperatives among small farmers.

Dr Nevers Mumba and his MMD faction emerged victorious in a recent court ruling declaring him the legitimate president of the party. He has emerged strong with a revitalized energy to take the party into a new era and ready for the 2021 presidential and parliamentary elections. He joins us to share his vision and the direction for the "New hope MMD"

With a current membership of 350 institutions of higher learning drawn from all regions within the continent, the AAU is the representative voice of the African higher education community.

The just ended African Diaspora Conference brought together diverse group of professionals ranging from health care, education, finance, information technology etc. This weekend we are honored to host the health care specialists.

 Dr. Mercy Ngosa Mumba is an award-winning scientist and philanthropist. She is a published author in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and her research is widely funded by various agencies, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Her research focuses on substance use disorders, addictive behaviors, and their comorbid mental health conditions. She is particularly interested in the impact of social determinants of health and the role of health disparities in preventing, treating, and managing these conditions. Dr. Mumba is passionate about improving the human condition through evidence-based initiatives and interventions, and is a strong advocate for increasing research productivity, infrastructure, and human capital globally.

Jote Taddese MSE is the Co-Founder of DiaspoCare whose mission is to bring the capacity to individuals who are away to take care of their loved ones’ needs for medicine and healthcare from anywhere in the world.
