Floribert Mwelwa is popularly known as Deejay FloKid in the greater Diaspora community (music and entertainment world), born and raised in Zambia he was influenced musically at a young age by Afrobeat, Soukous/Rhmba, and Zed Beats which were prolific in Zambia. He has had an ear for music since the day he was born. After moving to the United States as a young teenager he started attending underground parties and became obsessed with the trance scene.
