Capital District: After Dark — A Special Seminar on Etiquette
The chaos of Bellwether is over, but the bill has come due.
Summoned to Rivers Casino, the Kindred finally sit down with Mary O’Reilly, one of the Capital District’s most quietly dangerous power brokers. Instead of punishment, Mary offers something far more complicated: jobs, protection, stability, and a place under her umbrella. All she wants in return is a little debt.
But Mary has also prepared an audition. An ID belonging to the late Karen Cranford has surfaced on a captured Gangrel, reopening one of the coterie’s oldest wounds and forcing Kat, Connor, Anya, Shilo, and Eddie to decide just how far they are willing to go for answers. Along the way, an unexpected connection from Kat’s mortal past comes back into focus, and Eddie learns that Hunger can be every bit as expensive as politics.
As the interlude closes and Season Two approaches, the question is no longer whether these five Kindred need one another.
It’s what they are willing to owe for the privilege of feeling safe.
