Oliver turns to Rebecca for guidance on what it means to be Lasombra in a Camarilla city that still remembers the clan’s old sins. Connor meets with Sheriff Imani Caldwell and is offered a dangerous off-the-books assignment: infiltrate the Church of Caine and get close to Father Cruz.

Meanwhile, Anya is summoned by the Harpies and ordered to protect Father Cruz’s reputation at a Troy Anarch gathering, even as her own mortal life begins to collapse under a viral scandal. Kat receives a phone, an outfit, and a command from the man she has been trying to keep buried. Lily investigates the stolen vial from the museum heist and discovers the name Aspasia — along with a blood bond she never meant to form.

At the Foundry, all of these threads collide. Father Ricardo Cruz arrives, the truth of Kat’s bond is exposed, Anya frenzies, Lily spirals into devotion to a heart in a jar, and the coterie realizes that the Church of Caine is not just preaching.
