Here’s a new segment showing what the “Space of Connection” could look like. As we discussed in the first episode, you’re welcome to contribute to the project. Since I don't have any concrete ideas yet, please leave your suggestions in the comments below.
If you’re wondering whether all of this has a deeper meaning, the answer is yes. The deeper meaning is that such a space becomes a reality.
We continue on and enter a room installation that, along with the headline above, invites reflection. In this context, the following observation comes to mind: "Any kind of separation can only take place within one’s own mind, including that between us and nature," say the scholars. When we go through life in a relatively unconscious state, we fail to realize that the "I" that we see in the mirror as our body can be nothing more than a mental construct. However, with the right level of mindfulness, we can recognize that the world is a unified whole. This means that we are ourselves the fundamental elements of life: earth, water, fire, and air.
Let's fact-check this idea, which probably sounds unbelievable to most people today. Without oxygen, we could only survive for a few minutes. Yet we need oxygen for more than just survival; without it, neither we nor our ancestors nor any other complex living being would exist. The first single-celled organisms could not have developed billions of years ago when there was virtually no oxygen in the atmosphere. However, the conditions at that time laid the groundwork for the development of life as we know it today, in all its diversity. Consequently, every breath we take contains particles that have undergone countless biological and geological processes.
