During this period, Giselle found her partner and started a family. Everything was going ok until he started showing narcissistic and emotional abusive traits, leaving Giselle mentally and financially worse off.

Growing up was hard for Brittany and her sister with mental abuse occurring, and the lack of support from her mother, leading to self harming and self medicating with alcohol and prescription drugs for anxiety and PTSD we travel along Brittany's timeline up to today, where she has now put in healthy boundaries with her mum. We also talk about therapy and the danger of smacking your children.

In Today's episode of zero to hero, we chat with Paul O'Brien. He had an illustrious career with the Victorian police force and AFP before retiring and starting his own company. Things then took a nose dive quite quickly; with Paul being diagnosed with lymphatic cancer, a relationship breakdown with anxiety and depression grabbing a hold, he fell into a deep hole.
Paul drew a line in the stand and set out on some fantastic journeys and now is a respected author of Pedals, Paddles and potholes.
