It was a no brainer to ask Issa Please on the podcast. More than just a pretty face with a blog, she shares her honest thoughts online and is willing to talk about what it is like to be a blogger/content creator. She's someone who actually does something in the world, something more than just go to sponsored locations posting pretty pictures, someone with something to say. And boy, we went through a lot during our conversation.

Stories of learning a craft are so important.   

That's why I was thrilled when Rae Cabradilla said yes to a recorded conversation. She is one of the most talented photographers I know and is part of one of the best wedding photography groups in the Philippines, Rainbowfish. We talked about how she started her journey in photography, how her style has changed over the years, how she started working as a photographer, and what she does when she needs inspiration.

When I invited Niconiks Ybanez over for a conversation, we sat in our front porch late at night sipping a few beers and just talked. It was one of the best conversations as we talked about the power of simple living, the joys of surfing, reminiscing our high school years, and playing music in Cebu. It's a conversation that goes all over the place, but aren't all conversations like that?

It was a treat to have Nathaniel Soque of Linear Coffee Roasters in the podcast. Not only did we dive deep into what makes a good cup of coffee, but we examine the precision and meticulousness needed to run a top quality cafe. This conversation changed the way I make coffee, and gave me insight of what it might be like to open up my future coffee shop (retirement plans). We get into the origins of Linear Coffee Roasters, their future plans, and talk about Cebu's coffee culture.

Lately, I've started cooking at home. I'm not much of a chef. I fry everything. Who can help me with this? One of the first people to come to mind is Chip Lopez. Not only has she spent thousands of hours thinking of eating healthy, she walks the talk. She eats well. Treats herself well. And puts in the work to keep her mind body and soul in tip top shape. On top of that, her "why" is to share that wealth of knowledge to the world. I could not have asked for a more perfect interviewee.

No one said a creative life was easy.

Which is why I love this episode with Carlo Rodriguez of Lilila Primitive Art. We talk about the many obstacles that he was forced to overcome. He started from zero. He didn't know where to buy materials, people weren't sharing their knowledge, talking and selling to people was a struggle, but he persevered.

Today, he lives life on his own terms.

"Zerothreetwo Conversations: Interviews with the creative class" can only explain so much. So I invited my friend and ex-podcasting-host, Kahlil Corazo, to talk about the podcast. He had a few insightful questions that I didn't even think about when conceptualizing the show.
