As we at Zion Fellowship prepare for our yearly 21 days of prayer and fasting join Pastor Chris and he dives into what Prayer and Fasting really are by what Jesus said they were.

Why can't we keep the Christmas spirit all year round? How do we "Repeat the Sounding Joy" all year round? What is the difference between Joy and happiness? It's JESUS. Joy comes from Him where happiness is fleeting and comes from things of the world.

The only way to live is with our eyes fixed on Jesus. When was the last time you experienced that refreshing presence of the Lord? Are you walking in that Joy that comes when you give your whole heart to Jesus? Say yes to HIM again and experience that pure refreshing JOY again! 

What is the difference between the magnetic north and the North Pole (True North) and how does that all illustrate TRUE JOY? The true north is a fixed point and if our true north is Jesus and He never changes then oh what JOY!

Having Vision as a church body and as an individual that is based solely in HIS will is so important. When we are aligned with His purpose for us we have passion, excitement and fulfillment but most importantly we have a part in accomplishing HIS will here on earth. 

Christ commanded and instructed us to love one another as He has loved us. This is not always easy! However when we wrap Him around ourselves we need to embrace the kind of loving, forgiving mercy and grace driven ways of Him. We need to ask to see others the way HE sees them and to then act in LOVE towards everyone.

“‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”

Jesus said it so why is it so hard for us to follow sometimes? Why is it the first way the enemy attacks our walk with Jesus is by broken relationships with one another??

Worship is not just music... it is the act of giving everything you have to the ONE who is oh so worthy. We look at Mary in John 12:1-8 where she used the most expensive bottle of oil she had and anointed his feet. This was an act of worship.
