Zion Fellowship

As we continue to go over our core values at Zion Fellowship join us with our guest speaker George Reuter as we go over the importance of being grounded in the word as a church.

You may ask yourself grounded in the word as apposed to what?  Well George goes over how some people are grounded in their opinions and feelings, their political ideology and scientific viewpoints and WHY those are all shaky things to be grounded in.

The WORD will never let you down but we must find ways to get the WORD in us.  Any guesses as to how??? Yes!! READ IT!

Purpose: Why we Exist

To experience the life of Christ through worship and prayer, to express Christ’s life through dynamic fellowship with one another, and to extend Christ’s life and fellowship to more and more people through effective witness.

or simply:

Loved by God - experience

Loving others - expression

Loving the world - extend to others

As we continue to make our way through Acts by looking at the early church as an example of what we have all been called to we are reminded of what we are called to preach; THE GOSPEL. Not our ideas, not our theologies just the simple message of CHRIST. The message that brings life, that brings deliverance, that sets the captives free! Nothing else matters, nothing else has the power to transform like the gospel so why as the church do we feel it necessary to preach anything else?

If you are a born again Christian then you have an annointing on your life to tell non believers the gospel message.

WE HAVE ALL BEEN GIVEN THIS COMMISSION!

If we as the body of Christ become "yes" people to the will of God we WILL see wondrous and miraculous things in our time.

The world needs the perfect love of Jesus Christ and it doesn't even know it but WE DO!  It's time church we all bring it to them.

We all want to see signs and wonders in this day and this hour. How did the early church achieve it? Not by preaching opinions but by speaking the gospel to everyone they could.

This is KEY to believing in Jesus as Savior and Lord, trusting him for all you need, being satisfied with all that God is for you in Jesus.

Authentic believing in Jesus has a couple of effects:

When we go through hard times what's inside us is what comes out. When we are filled with all the negative we react in a negative way. When we are filled with Him and the Holy Spirit He comes out. The world is look at the church now and seeing how we react to the events of the day. We need Him to show up big through us!

Join us as our guest speaker George Reuter dives into Acts 4:23-37 to see how the disciples prayed and set the ground work for the early church, using what they had learned in their 3 years spent with Jesus as their firm foundation.

These are the two great needs that we all have:
