Solo on this episode while cohost Carter is away, teZa recounts a true story that'll make you laugh, perhaps wonder at, but definitely be amazed and astounded by!

We all remember how, as kids, every day was an exciting adventure! This pure, unaffected-by-adversity experience is within our grasp, still, for those of us who choose to have it. The choice is simple: focus on positives rather than the negatives of such fluctuating things as the political or material or "ordinary" view of what life's all about. How do we choose? By being aware that we DO HAVE free will and always have a choice about what in life we want to focus on. No matter what's happening on the outside, our interior life can remain closely aligned with the excitement of the extraordinary, the spiritual side of our everyday life. Which we all have access to. It's just that some of us have forgotten how. Or choose to deny that Spirit matters. But, in fact, the spiritual is the most important part of all of our lives. For those of us who don't want to get sucked into the oftentimes messy power-struggles, the dramas of conflict and others' negativity, we can most certainly have a happy life... IF ... we focus on our spiritual power within.

Who would think it? Carter and teZa are both amazed as they contemplate the importance of developing patience. Without patience, a spiritual life is impossible, Carter is just finding out. teZa agrees, and both share how they're doing at practicing this little talked-about spiritual attribute.

Especially in light of what's going on this particular day, January 6, 2021. ZLORD is a spiritual podcast and we do NOT talk politics. Even when the US Capitol is under siege by domestic terrorists, exactly what happened just hours before this episode was recorded. By not focusing on that horrific and unprecedented event, we hope to demonstrate to our listeners how a life based on inner peace can be cultivated. Yes, we knew it was happening. But we chose not to discuss it, not even to say, "It is happening," because that choice would take away from the higher choice, the better choice of the moment. To develop patience.

With a divisive political environment such as we Americans are experiencing to a greater degree than ever, Carter and I believe by developing our spiritual side, we citizens of the world are taking the very best, and highest action we can to help heal our imbalances.
