Kalaki Clarke, MD is a Board-Certified Family Physician who provides competent and compassionate medical care for individuals experiencing homelessness on Skid Row in Downtown, Los Angeles. In 2005 she earned her Medical Degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and after a non-traditional medical journey, in 2017 she completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of California, Irvine. It was her personal experience of receiving a late diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Inattentive Type at age 35 (in 2015) which helped shape her passion as a mental health and ADHD advocate. Dr. Clarke serves as an Administrator of Physicians with ADHD, a private online group of more than 800 members. She also actively participates in the Disability Mentorship Program organized jointly by the Stanford Medicine Alliance for Disability, Inclusion, and Equity (SMADIE), Medical Students with Disability and Chronic Illness (MSDCI), and the Society for Physicians with Disability (SPD).
Dr. Clarke also enjoys teaching medical learners and volunteers as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Medical Education for the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) while in practice at Los Angeles Christian Health Centers.
