The girlfriend of the seller has violated Real Estate Commission and Board of Realtors ethics rules by advising me in writing, speaking condescendingly toward me, intimidating, and manipulating me. She has convinced her boyfriend not to sign an extension of our sales agreement, and he has subsequently misled me by saying he would sign when he got back from a trip but instead processing payment without my permission and without an updated agreement. Unfortunately, garbage like this is apparently part of homesteading rural land, so here is my experience and what I intend to do about it. Oh, and The Patch is back on the table.

The seller went crazy and bailed on our agreement, and now they are not refunding my deposit. But I am not going to let narcissists drag me down into crisis. Instead, I'm going to get back to work on my original property and let my attorney handle this latest BS.

If you've been following this podcast you know I've been hoping to acquire the original parcel I'd planned to buy before coming to Texas. Today I received an offer on the 5 acre parcel I've transformed over the past two years plus and will be transferring ownership of it to a permaculture enthusiast who will take care of it and be a good neighbor while I build my very own house over at The Patch.
