When we reviewed HELLBENT for our look at LGBTQ-themed horror films, we noted that it billed itself as the first "Queer Slasher Film", but in truth that was a bit of marketing spin. There were certainly LGBTQ horror films before it, and in this episode, we turn our attention to the French film HIGH TENSION and find ourselves conflicted not just for its notorious plot twist, but also for what it has to say about its lesbian lead character.
