Zone-casts: Heel Turn

Casual Friday returns from its eternal slumber as PW.C’s intrepid gumshoes Ashley, John and Oscar take a deep dive into MLW’s anti-trust lawsuit against WWE and the absolutely bonkers complaint they filed. Is there a case here or has Court Bauer’s bravado written a check he cannot cash? (Spoilers: there may be something here!)

John, Oscar, and Owen return to start off the new year by discussing the worst things in wrestling from the previous year. These are the deliberations to determine the winners and runners-up of the site’s “Worst of” awards. The categories are: Most Egregious Misuse of Talent, Worst Show Aesthetic, Worst Special Entrance and/or Debut, Worst New/Temporary Gimmick, The QVC for Wrestling Award (Worst Merch), Worst Show, Worst Spot, Dot Bull$#!% Moment (Biggest Bummer of 2021), Slimiest Business Decision in the Middle of a Global Pandemic, Worst Non-Apology for Abhorrent Behavior, Worst New Trend, Worst Promo, Worst New Name, Worst Feud/Storyline, Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Presents Worst Non-In-Ring Performer, Worst Person, Worst Tag Team/Stable, Worst Women’s Division Wrestler, Worst Men’s Division Wrestler, Worst Event, and the Top 10 Worst Matches of the Year.

John, Oscar and UB are joined by friend of the site and Drag Race neophyte Rhythm Bastard, and they basically end up teaching him the entire history of the show and RuPaul’s career in general. Plus: episode 2 of Drag Race UK season 2; the latest episode of Drag Race Vanilla; and even more tangents.

EDITOR’S NOTE: There is unfortunately some echo in this episode that I wasn’t able to fully remove. Sorry about that.

Yes, this episode is very late. But it’s also over three hours, so strap yourself in as Oscar, John and new co-host UB Orengo break down Drag Race UK’s season 2 premiere and episode 3 of Drag Race Vanilla, season 13. Also tangents, lots and lots of tangents.

Yes I know this episode is late; editing a podcast while sick is not very fun. But it’s fine, because neither was this episode of Drag Race. Regardless, tune in to find out whom is bringing that Big Britta Energy to the Main Stage and why we don’t trust this show to do right by Gottmik, okurrrrrr?

New Year, New Us – Oscar and John settle into their new lives as weekly RuPaul’s Drag Race recappers who also watch wrestling by critiquing the Season 13 premiere. Will the changes to the show’s formula and a lip-sync battle-centric episode be enough to get our hosts excited for more of Mama Ru’s shenanigans?

Happy New Year – it’s time to talk about the best/worst show on television not named Monday Night Raw again! Join Oscar and John as they preview RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13; fantasy book another all-wrestler season of the show; discuss the 22nd Annual GLAM Awards; and once again remind you that RuPaul is The Fabulous Moolah of Drag.

John, Owen, Oscar, and Trace return for the second week of year-end award deliberations. But this time they’re highlighting all the worst things in pro wrestling over the past horrible year!

Owen, John, Oscar, and Trace spend over eight hours deliberating what was the best in wrestling in 2020. Yeah, 2020 was generally a terrible year but somehow wrestling has a lot of good stuff!
