The Posinauts are here again (plus Mike Tyson)! Trace, Oscar and John reconvene to bring you another week in the world of PLURfessional wrestling, including final thoughts on AEW Double or Nothing; NXT’s fight pit; a Dynamite where Sonny Kiss was allowed to exist; and how no one cares about cornonavirus anymore and we’re all going to die. Okay, maybe it’s not all the way positive. Plus Mike Tyson.
The Love Triangle (that’s what we’re calling ourselves, right?) reconvene for a big week in a business that lost the ability to be PLUR two months ago. Nevertheless, John, Oscar and Trace bring you over two hours of insight into Dark Side of the Ring’s season finale on the death of Owen Hart; the impending danger of XFL 3.0; the go-home AEW Dynamite and predictions for Saturday’s Double or Nothing PPV; how COVID-19 will effect the finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 12; and what happens when a cat has control over the show notes.

It’s really hard to have any interest in professional wrestling with everything going on in the world right now. This week, John and Oscar don’t even try to pretend to care. Nonetheless, they soldier on to discuss the Road Warriors on Dark Side of the Ring; play It’s AEW Dynamite, Do You Care?; and cover the only thing that actually matters in this cold, cruel world: the gold Meowscles skin in Fortnite.
John, Oscar and Trace discuss Herb Abrams on Dark Side of the Ring, The Revolt on Talk is Jericho and an incredibly stupid and fun AEW Dynamite. Wrestling!
Heel Turn may be on hiatus due to these uncertain times, but what is certain is WWE refuses to stop being pay-per-views. So Owen and John are back to give their predictions for a card full of… wait, HOW many matches?!
It’s hard to believe sometimes, but it turns out that an industry dominated by brain-damaged adults that have gotten way too many concussions is abusive and all the people that run it are awful. Who would have thunk? In other words: Trace, Oscar and John review the allegations that Velveteen Dream solicited a minor and crucify AEW and Tony Khan for insisting that Dynamite go live again starting next week, even though we know they have weeks of taped episodes. At least Private Party is cool.
It’s time to buy and sell once again, Stonk Marketeers, as Ow€n and Big Money John return to run down WWE’s first quarterly financial report to investors for 2020. Is the company still making immense profits despite the COVID-19 pandemic? Are they still continuing to abuse and underpay their talents while making obscene amounts of money for Vince McMahon? The answers to these questions may not surprise you.
As promised on Episode 26, John, Oscar and Trace take a deep dive into everything surrounding WWE and professional sports at large being declared “essential businesses” in Florida and the ramifications for the industry and the country at large that this entails. Plus: Dino Bravo on Dark Side of the Ring and an AEW Dynamite where Dustin Rhodes definitely didn’t retire.

The past week has been absolutely brutal for the world of PLURfessional Wrestling, all culminating in WWE releasing tens of employees in the middle of a global pandemic. Heel Turn’s Owen joins Trace, Oscar and John as they take stock of all the people no longer being paid for their services by WWE as of the Ides of April, discuss the ramifications of flooding a market with talent during a period where almost no one can work, and reiterate just how badly wrestlers need to unionize. Plus: we review this week’s Dark Side of the Ring on Jimmy Snuka and the alleged murder that Vince McMahon allegedly paid to make go away; reveal Killer Kross’ bad new WWE name; and take an in-depth look at the hot matches from the Best Wrestling Show of 2018 and 2019: Being the Elite.

It’s Heel Alternative’s Silver Anniversary Extravaganza! Strap in for a monster-sized episode as a despondent John, an exuberant Oscar and Interim-Host-in-Way-Over-His-Head Trace rage over the fact that WWE and Impact are stupid enough to keep doing wrestling shows in the middle of a pandemic, discuss NXT TakeOver USA and the start of AEW’s TNT Championship Tournament, and present another episode of the best home shopping show in history, QVC for Wrestling.
