「季節」之所以有趣，是因為它與我們的生活息息相關，不同的地區會有不同的天氣，慶祝節日的方式也會有所差異，譬如南半球的聖誕節便是在夏季而非冬季。而因為季節的不同, 白天黑夜的長短也有所不同。在四季分明的國家，季節的變化常讓人忍不住要讚嘆大自然的奇妙，可惜處在亞熱帶地區的台灣，我們比較難感受明顯的季節變化之美。
今天的單元中，我們來認識最基本的四季該如何用英語說，也要分享和四季相關的生活對話。
 
對話
娘: What’s your favorite season, Jen?  (妳最喜歡的季節是什麼?)
珍: My favorite season is winter.    (我最喜歡的季節是冬天)
娘: Oh, really? Isn't it too cold for you? (真的嗎? 對妳來說不會太冷嗎?)
珍: Yes. It might be too cold sometimes, but I just love the cold cuddle  weather. I can wear warmer clothes and I like to with  my husband in winter.
     (會啊! 有時候的確覺得太冷, 但我就是喜歡冷天。可以穿上暖暖的衣服, 而且我喜歡在冬天和老公靠在一起取暖。)
