This week mum has seen Paul Feig's 2011 comedy, Bridesmaids, and Idris Elba in shoot-em-up The Take / Bastille Day. And, because Rob recently guested on The SeaBin Podcast, mum picks three things she would like to throw into a bin in the sea.

This week mum reviews Charlize Theron in Young Adult. She's also seen The Green Mile ("there's a mouse in it") and A Walk in the Woods ("Robert Redford hasn't had anything lifted").

Mum has seen Spielberg classic, Jaws ("it's about a killer whale"), and George Clooney's Suburbicon ("it's a bit weird"). She also reviews Colin Firth WWII prisoner of war drama, The Railway Man.

This week mum is unimpressed with Al Pacino's acting in 1995's Heat. She's also seen James McAvoy playing 23 characters in M. Knight Shyamalan's Split, and Asif Kapadia's Ayrton Senna documentary.

This week mum has seen the winner of the 2017 Oscar for best picture, Moonlight, and Hidden Figures, the best film ever made about maths (get knotted, Russell Crowe). She's also seen Bobby Fischer biopic, Pawn Sacrifice, starring Tobey "your dad's Spider-Man" Maguire.

This week it’s a bonanza of cheap schlock, as mum sees a too-young Hugh Jackman in Van Helsing and Gerard “Gladiator” Butler in Den of Thieves. She's also seen confusing Brit-flick City of Tiny Lights, starring Riz Ahmed and Billie Piper.

This week mum has stayed up till 2am to watch Al Capone flick, The Untouchables. She's also seen Hannibal Lecter prequel, Red Dragon ("refreshing"), and Matt Damon's most recent outing as Jason Bourne ("he looks like he's been beaten round the face a few times").

This week mum relives her time in Vietnam (she did a tour with the 5th Saga Regiment in 2012) by watching 70s classic, The Deerhunter, starring Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken, and Meryl Streep. She's also seen Cold Mountain ("boring") and The Road ("it's set after the Big Bang").

In this week's episode Rob's lockdown selections are Victorian love triangle drama, Effie Gray, and knee-busting skate-a-thon, I Tonya. Mum has seen Jaws knock off, 47 Meters Down, and the 2010 remake of True Grit.

We're still under lockdown, so here are this week's home viewing picks. Rob has seen Harriet Tubman biopic, Harriet (2019) and WWII spy drama, Allied (2013). Mum has seen Raiders of the Lost Ark, Interstellar, Inferno (2016), and a pair of Liam Neeson actioners: The Grey and The Commuter.
