  • HORROR CORRIDOR EPISODE 008: Mister Watson’s Best of 2016 Party
HORROR CORRIDOR 008: Mister Watson’s Best of 2016 Party
After nearly 3 months of silence, Horror Corridor makes its triumphant return to the podcasting realm! In this long-awaited 8th episode, Mister Watson invites you to join his springtime lounge-party, celebrating his favorite horror films from last year. (Seriously. There really IS a lounge-party!)
This is not a top 10 list, though, my friends. We’re dealing with the top 16 of 2016 here, but it’s not just one list… homies, its TWO top 16 lists! The second-tier list from 32 to 17 is comprised of the 16 films that Mister Watson feels are well above honorable-mention status but aren’t quite ready to stand toe-to-toe with the TOP 16, which are Watson’s real favorites.
Ready yourself for a show jam-packed with stellar 2016 picks, but… the party doesn’t stop there, folks. Mister Watson also brings you his absolute favorite dark-themed song from 2016: “Mourning Glory” by rapper Sadistik.
This is an episode you simply can’t afford to miss!
    00:00:00 – Mister Watson’s Lounge Party

  • HORROR CORRIDOR EPISODE 007: What Would Bryan Bertino Do?
HORROR CORRIDOR 007: What Would Bryan Bertino Do?
At long last, episode 007 has arrived! After taking January off, Horror Corridor returns with deep discussions of writer/director Bryan Bertino’s 3 films: The Strangers (2008); Mockingbird (2014); and The Monster (2016).
The initial reviews are free of spoilers, BUT… if you stick around until after the outro-music has played, spoilers abound! Included in the spoiler-filled content is a look at the underlying themes in The Monster’s final act… as well as a brisk yet thorough walkthrough of The Strangers from start to finish.
Peppered throughout the episode are real-life horror tales that Mister Watson himself experienced in all their strangeness… one of which involves a monster in the woods, while the other occurred on the very night Mister Watson first watched The Strangers!
Lastly, results are in from Horror Corridor’s very first iTunes giveaway!
Get ready, folks, for another psychologically-oriented episode that required 9 beers and 3 whiskeys to record.
    Cheers,
    Mister Watson

  • Horror Corridor: T’was the Night by Mister Watson
T’was the Night by Mister Watson

T’was the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring… BECAUSE THEY WERE DEAD! One bleak Christmas over 30 years ago, the Candy Cane Killer stalked the snowy streets of a small town in middle America. His bloody, sadistic rampage claimed the lives of dozens of men, women, children, and… PETS.

You cannot see this 1984 Christmas slasher that never was, but you can hear the score that would have played during the gory title sequence!

Ha ha! Just kidding, Friends. I composed this song as a Christmas version of Horror Corridor’s normal intro/outro music. But doesn’t it just seem like the music from a long-lost 80s Christmas slasher? The Horror Corridor Christmas episode is almost done, but I just thought this would be a nice little bonus for you amazing listeners. I hope you enjoy the song! It was fun to produce.
