Hello, everyone, and welcome to the inaugural episode of HORROR CORRIDOR! I’m your host, Mister Watson, comin’ at you from the Olympia, Washington area up in the great Pacific Northwest, and I’m stoked to have you with me here today.

Each episode of HORROR CORRIDOR begins with an opening topic of discussion, and in episode 001 here, we’ll be kicking things off by taking an in-depth psychological look at the horror genre. Specifically, we’ll be asking ourselves why exactly we love horror and examining why we horror fans are so drawn to this dark, horrific genre. Psych-lovers, this one’s for you!

After the discussion portion of the episode is done, I’ll tell you all about who I am, how I got into podcasting, and then… the main event… my review of 1984’s huge horror comedy hit: Ghostbusters. I’ll be going over film trivia and production facts. Then, my likes and dislikes (not many dislikes here, honestly). And finally, I’ll be launching an attack against two popular interpretations of this beloved film. Despite the popularity and widespread nature of these two interpretations, I heartily disagree with them, so get ready for a fight!

I’ll have some Ghostbusters tidbits at the end, and then we’ll part company until episode 002.
