GIVE ME SOME EYES
Give me some eyes,
A target, something wild to chase.
Paint them in red and let them free
This is what danger feels like.
What makes you wild
Is your ability to be caught.
What keeps you wild,
Is your ability to run free.
If you aren’t chasing something,
You must be moving backwards.
Anything that stays still,
Eventually gets pushed out.
So give me some eyes
Let me chase what can’t be caught
Because one day, what isn’t caught
Eventually knows my eyes.
