Episode 12 –- From Separation Anxiety and Fear of People to becoming an International Jetsetter! Eileen and Mutley’s Journey

In this episode, schoolteacher and dog mom, Eileen, shares her and her canine companion Mutley’s amazing behavioural health journey. When Dr Katrin first met Eileen and Mutley in March 2020, they were struggling with Mutley’s Separation Anxiety, Fear of People coming into the home, Fear at the Veterinary Clinic and having his nails trimmed. Listen as Eileen talks about finding Dr Katrin and her team, building that trust relationship and her worries and concerns when the idea of using psychopharmaceutical medications to help Mutley’s anxieties was first mentioned by Dr Katrin.

Dr Katrin and Eileen also chat about how they prepared Mutley for 2 international air flights, one to Ireland and one to their current home in Germany.

This is such a relatable episode for all canine caregivers who live with a dog with anxiety, and leaves a strong feeling of hope that there is a way forward!
