“I hope you find me running.”
I leave this note on the table, every day.
I hope you find me running,
I’d make it a silver necklace, if I had time to play.
I hope you find me running,
in a moment between clouds passing,
a moment with speckled sun.
Perhaps, the birds flying by,
would pause and stare,
maybe they would stop and cry,

Looking at this act so rare.
I hope you find me running,

Not amongst the forest,

Or down these trodden streets.
I’m sure it might be lakeside,
yet, it shouldn’t be the case.
I hope you find me running,

For it’s my favourite place.
Running is a matter of the heart,
something otherworldly, something out there.
many people warn not to start
I just ask you to wait, should you have time spare.
In a place between me and you,
exists worlds so far, so blue,
ones I cannot access,
without being in toe with you.
Running is a place I hope to find you.
Running is a place, with my heart to view.
In a world that moves so terribly fast,
What I find, I’m sure will last.
In all my dreams,
In all my wishes,

never did I think the day would finally come true,

Where I looked up towards you,
and before I knew, you whispered
I hope you find me running.
