Astrology highlights for the week of August 14, 2022:

00:49 – This week's theme is: The Rainbow Connection! Remember: After a storm, the rainbow appears. Enjoy this beautiful song by Kermit the Frog! (You’re welcome. 😊) And perhaps you’ll find a pot of gold this week!

01:18 – The three big things this week: First, the Sun in Leo opposes Saturn in Aquarius on Sunday the 14th! The Sun represents our ego, our confidence, our essence, and our vitality. Saturn is boundaries, restrictions, and discipline. (Think “ST” words when you think of Saturn: structure, stamina, stability.) Be aware that this transit can show up as feeling lonely or like you’re up against a wall – so be gentle with yourself.

03:03 – Second, the Last Quarter Moon at 26 Taurus is happening on Thursday. This is the psychological integration portion of this moon cycle, from three weeks ago (the Leo New Moon), as well as from the eclipses and the longer 2.5-year cycle. Think about what goals you set at the Leo New Moon, and how that is going for you. Also, this lunation is part of the Lunar Phase Family: Think back to May 22, 2020 (2 Gemini), February 19, 2021 (1 Gemini), November 19, 2021 (27 Taurus), and August 18, 2022. What story has been revealed to you, and how are you taking action differently? Also, Mars is at the last degree (anaretic degree) of Taurus during this lunation. The Sabian symbol for 30 Taurus is “A peacock parading on the terrace of an old castle.”

10:50 – Third, Mars enters Gemini until March 23, 2023! Mars will be in Gemini for almost seven months, an extra long time! Which house does Gemini rule in your chart? Mars will be retrograde later in the year, so notice if a story is showing up in your life. One thing to consider is your cyber security, but Celeste will talk more about that down the road. 12:59 – On Sunday, the word of the day is SURVEILLANCE. The energy is a bit volatile. Stay aware of your emotions & surroundings. The Moon enters Aries at 1:42 pm PT.

17:13 – On Monday, the theme is DISSEMINATION. Share your wisdom with others. The disseminating Moon phase starts at 7 Aries at 2:51 am PT.

18:32 – Tuesday's focus is BRILLIANCE. Stay present for downloads of innovative insights. The Moon enters Taurus at 7:22 pm PT.

19:32 – On Wednesday, the word is VISUALIZE. Take time to brainstorm and write things down.  

20:31 – On Thursday, the theme is CRYSTALLIZATION. A day of psychological integration. Things will just click! The Last Quarter Moon at 26 Taurus is at 9:36 pm PT.

21:42 – On Friday, the focus is PEACOCKING. Feel good about yourself. Reflect on some of your big successes. The Moon enters Gemini at 12:56 am PT.

23:25 – On Saturday, the word is DOCUMENT. Get out your journal and reflect on any insights about your Gemini houses in your natal chart. Mars enters Gemini at 12:56 am PT until March 2023.
