Welcome to the first episode of Real Polling in Real Time with Zogby. We’re kicking off the fifth anniversary of our podcast to focus more on what we do best which is interpreting the latest polls and data around current events. So let’s get right into it.

We have some new presidential numbers which are really fascinating. It’s been a wild few weeks. In our latest poll the President’s approval and disapproval rating mirror his popular vote victory in November: 49% approval and 48% disapproval. No movement at all. But when we look behind the numbers we see some fascinating numbers.

Next we’ll also assess the president’s support and opposition through the lens of media watching habits, with data to show just how much where and what you’re consuming informs your view of the current administration.
