Astrology highlights for the week of October 16, 2022:

00:49 – This week's theme is: Walk by Faith, Not by Sight! Mars is about to go retrograde and is still closely square Neptune, bringing a lack of clarity. (Review last week's Episode 25, Aries Full Moon: Beauty & the Beast, for more details!) How can you connect to your intuition?

03:05 – This week's three big things: First, we have the Last Quarter (LQ) Moon at 24 Cancer on October 17. The Sun is on 24 Libra, on fixed star Arcturus (the hunter who begins to farm, a pathfinder). Mars is also trine the Sun and square Neptune during this LQ Moon. And Mercury is back on Diadem, the crown star. (Mercury has now cleared its retrograde shadow, hurrah!) Brainstorm ideas because there is a Grand Trine in air!

08:32 – Second, Venus is Cazimi (conjunct the Sun) at 29 Libra. The Sun and Venus are traveling together, trining Mars and square Pluto. Venus is in its home sign of Libra, and then will enter Scorpio, the sign of its "detriment" where she is uncomfortable and has reduced strength. This is the first time in over 100 years that the Cazimi is happening in Libra! Libra is the peacemaker sign; how can you infuse love, beauty, harmony, pleasure, contentment, and gratitude into your relationships? Celeste pulled the card of fated meetings for this transit! Venus's conjunctions to the Sun make a beautiful 5-pointed star pattern during its 8-year cycle. Check it out: Five petals of Venus!

11:49 – Third, Saturn goes direct this week on Saturday, trine Mercury and square Uranus. The station lasts for five days before and after… things may feel a bit chaotic, so ground and take care of yourself as you're able. Things that were stalled around Saturn topics may get a new life and forward momentum.

14:31 – On Sunday, the theme is PREPARATION. Take some time to consider how you will stay grounded when Mars goes retrograde. The breath is an amazing tool. 

16:37 – On Monday, the word of the day is REFLECTION. Think about what helps you find security and safety despite uncertain times. The Last Quarter Moon phase starts 24 Cancer at 10:14 am PT. The Moon enters Leo at 9:44 pm PT.

17:50 – Tuesday's focus is ENJOYMENT. Let your inner child make an appearance today.

18:38 – On Wednesday, the word is DELIBERATE. Focus on the task at hand. Avoid multitasking.

19:56 – On Thursday, the theme is DEVOTION. What routines and habits are you loyal to? Are they helpful or hindering? The Moon enters Virgo at 9:25 am PT.

21:38 – On Friday, the emphasis is INTUITIVE. Stay present for signs and signals from the Universe. The Balsamic Moon phase begins at 13 Virgo at 11:06 am PT.

22:37 – On Saturday, the word is COMMITMENT. Dedicate yourself to finding balance and peace in your relationships. The Moon enters Libra at 6:23 pm PT.
