You've known him or her for no more than 20 minutes before you're being asked your social security number, driver's license number, health information and ultimately your bank account information. Unfortunately, we live in a world full of scammers and snake oil salesmen.
Obviously you want to do business with someone who you can trust to handle all your personal information. You need to do everything you can to differentiate yourself from the pack. Here, I go into specifics, along with a fun story of the most skeptical nut I had to crack so far and how I still got the information to write the application.
