Astrology highlights for the week of April 2, 2023:

02:30 – This week's theme is: Fire and Desire!

02:41 – The three big things: First, Mercury enters Taurus this week! Mercury rules communication, transportation, and commerce. It oversees our mental processes, coordination, writing, documents, instruments, electronics, cars, siblings, and things close to us. It also is the steward of our central nervous system, our fingers and hands, and the tubes in our body! Speed is in line with Mercury, as is dexterity, flexibility, agility, and wittiness! It swiftly goes around the Sun every 88 days. It's known as a trickster, and its shadow energies include lying, falsehoods, hurtful words, malicious gossip, and wishy-washiness. Mercury is at home in Gemini and Virgo. It is in detriment in Pisces and Sagittarius. Mercury in Taurus brings practical, stable thinking and plans. Complete something you started while Mercury was in Aries. The first aspect Mercury will make is a square to Pluto on Monday! Will we see an announcement from Congress about plans for TikTok or some transportation-related news?

08:03 – Second, the Sun conjuncts Chiron at 15 Aries on Wednesday. Will we see news about a celebrity or a world leader with an illness? The Sun spotlights things and is about authority, and Chiron is about wounds and the head.

09:28 – Third, we'll have a Full Moon at 16 Libra on Wednesday! It is part of a Lunar Phase Family that began mid-October 2021 with a Libra New Moon; the First Quarter Moon was early July 2022; now we have the Full Moon. The Last Quarter Moon will be in early Jan. 2024. What began for you in Oct. 2021? Look to your chart to see if you have planets between 10-18 of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn). Tune in to hear Celeste's example of each 9-month period! This Full Moon will be about relationships of all kinds: How can you take action for yourself vs. others? How can you find balance? Full Moons always illuminate things! Fire and desire are for the fiery Aries Sun and relational Libra Moon!

Interestingly, the Moon also parallels asteroid Amor (love) and Jupiter (expanding things). How will it play out in your life? Look to early Oct. 2021 and July 2022 for clues!

13:42 – On Sunday, the theme is GROUNDING. Can you run your feet in the grass? The Moon enters Virgo at 3:57 am PT.

15:57 – On Monday, the word of the day is PRESSURE-COOKER. Use your breath to release pressure. Mercury enters Taurus at 9:22 am PT.

17:02 – Tuesday's focus is STRESS. Have some levity about what annoys you. The Moon enters Libra at 2:50 pm PT.

17:53 – On Wednesday, the word is TOOLS. How can you build harmony and negotiate through difficulties? The Full Moon at 16 Libra at 9:34 pm.

19:38 – On Thursday, the theme is BALANCE. Dance on one foot. The Moon enters Scorpio at 11:29 pm PT.

20:33 – On Friday, the emphasis is FLOWERS. Jam to the Miley Cyrus song.

22:17 – On Saturday, the word is DYNAMITE. Watch your temper. Just have a good time.
