Little Lavender:

There’s a little piece of lavender on my bedside table. 

It’s been there nearly two weeks, and it makes me think of you.

It makes me miss you.

I didn’t plan on picking lavender from my neighbours garden, but you found my hand. 

I didn’t plan on finding you, but you found my hand. 

Until you return, 

my little lavender will stay a while more.

I won’t pick any more lavender,
