Discerning what is most valuable in life.  I remember my father saying, “too soon old, too late smart.”  I also remember someone saying that “80% of wisdom, is being right in time.”  All of us have great wisdom, after the fact, after the event.  But to be wise in time, to be wise ahead of the choice, that is the trick.
