I have a love/hate relationship with tech.
I welcome and embrace the positives it brings me but I really detest the way some technology can drain your energy and make you feel controlled.
So for me, tech is about liberation and gains, never about limitations or negativity.
Listen to what I'm using and what I'm not!
Enjoy
Ok so I meditate 5 out of 7 days on average, so it's a big deal.
But I did not start that way
If you have never meditated, don't knock it until you have tried it
It's a game-changer for mental health, clearing out the rubbish upstairs and then allowing me to be more present every day.
Let me explain how I meditate and why you should as well
Enjoy!
Once you have the plan, the outcome and the definition of success in your mind
It's really important that you are allowed to be
- Flexible in your approach to the plan
But you must also remain
- Rigid with the plan
By this I mean, change the approach to the plan, but don't change the plan.
the outcome remains the same, how you get there can be flexible.
Where in your life can you be working the plan?
Where are you not being rigid with the plan?
Where are you giving yourself a pass for not doing something, where actually you are giving yourself a bad excuse?
Listen and learn what you need to do!
I know it sounds a bit harsh, but it's a pretty accurate statement.
Maybe it could have been something like - Prioritise your health or live a miserable life and then die early
or
Prioritise your health and make more money
It could be any of these actually.
More accurately it should be
Prioritise your health, so you are of greater value to those around you and the tasks that are important to you
Boom
My original title is just clickbait, lets see if it works
Ok, so it's been about 4 months since I last recorded a podcast.
Did you miss me?
Let me share with you how
"I dropped the ball?"
What that might look like for you, and what you can do about it
Enjoy and share
Sometimes the ego can be a dangerous thing
Listen as I explain my reasons for running 210 miles in 20 days in December
How it did not go to plan, why the idea was to run closer to 400miles and the reasons I had to stop
When your actions and values are not aligned with one and another, that's where it starts to break down
What I learnt and will I do it again?
Enjoy
Ironically my wife and I at the time of this recording were not talking. We had an argument in the morning.
Day 2 of Kids at home for Lockdown
Which makes the content even more powerful
We are cool now.
The premise here is to look and seek out the lessons that can be learnt frm the people who are close to you.
My wife is the perfect example of this
Enjoy
So many people think that because the date has changed, that the problems, issues and challenges we had last week, will all be gone
I get into the good stuff we can take form 2020
Why we should embrace 2020 and not forget 2020
Why 2020 could be the most important year to date
Hope you enjoy
