the REALIFE Practice Podcast

1. Introducing the oneLife Maps Podcast

Listen Later

If God is interacting with you, would you notice? Can you learn to recognize and respond to God in your story — in your everyday, ordinary life? We’ll talk to people who have recognized what God is up to in the midst of the mundane, joyful, painful and profound moments of life, and sensed God with them, in them, and for them. Some found encouragement, healing, hope, redemption, restoration, new perspectives or direction at life’s crossroads — sometimes in surprising ways. Others are still sorting it all out — just like every one of us at different points in our story — but are willing to talk with us about their questions along the way.

Listen in as podcast Host, me, Sharon Swing and my friends, Co-Hosts Joan Kelley, and Sibyl Towner have conversations and interview people who have learned to listened to their lives as a spiritual practice and some who have mapped their life stories using a portfolio of visual maps found in ‘Listen to My Life: Maps for Recognizing and Responding to God in My Story.’ We’ll talk with authors, pastors, artists or anyone with an interesting story to tell about God’s intervention or still small voice stirring their souls. The conversation will convene at the intersection of life story and Christian spiritual formation. If you want to find out more about the ‘Listen to My Life’ maps or submit your story for a potential future episode, go to www.onelifemaps.com/podcast to learn more.
