People often say that they will get into heaven based on their good deeds. “I’m a nice person.” “I give to the poor.” “I volunteer at a food bank.” Works are great, but there’s more to getting to heaven than just simply being a good person and volunteering some of your time and energy. It takes faith. Faith and works go hand in hand, and today, Pastor Mark will teach you that it is a balancing act. You need both. Without faith, works are just empty humanitarian acts without any relationship with the father. Without works, you’re not following all of Jesus’s teachings.
