Jon is a drummer and was in numerous bands here in the local Edmonton music scene over the years, as well as a supporter of the local bands albums - he has been known to set up at Flea Markets and other such vendors with bands' CDs and vinyl, helping them sell their music and get the word out.

For a certain kind of music lover, there’s nothing more alluring than a “lost” album. Unlike a record that was merely “scrapped” or “never released,” the term suggests something both mysterious and not worth losing—especially when that album is fabled to be particularly emotionally raw, and especially when the artist who created it is beloved precisely for his rawness, but also for his reticence. “Sometimes life hurts,” Neil Young wrote in a blog post announcing that he was finally releasing Homegrown, an album that’s something of a unicorn among the sort of fans who read his Times-Contrarian newspaper. “This is the one that got away.” -Pitchfork.com Fantastic addition to Neil Young's catalogue !! A must for any fan.

Glen is BACK!! .and he's brought his 2nd #honourablemention : Corrosion of Conformity's 1994 LP - 'Deliverance'!! We talk CoC's hardcore roots and beginnings and how they morphed into a sludgy stoner-rock band through the 90's...how bassist/vocalist Pepper Keenan was rumoured to have joined Metallica around the St.Anger timeframe (yes, another St.Anger reference on the show haha). Good pick, good episode!!
