Beck's 2002 'Sea Change' shows a much more venerable, straight-forward version of Beck - making this one of his most accessible records he's ever done.

The album is full of beautiful, uplifting sadness - this is a "breakup album" if there ever was one. Beck also resisted the usage of heavy sampling of his previous albums for live instrumentation. 

Josh had this album in heavy rotation during a very transformational time in his life : a move across the world from Canada to New Zealand.

The news broke this past Friday - after years of staying off Apple Music and Spotify, etc Tool's back catalogue is now available!!

Also, in even bigger news, the band announced they will be releasing a long-awaited new album on August 30th!!..with pre-sale to commence this coming Wednesday, August 7th.

My gut reaction, initially, was "Yeah right..." but this sure seems like the real thing and we could not be more excited.
