On The Might of Princes was an incredible band. Chris Enriquez played drums in that band. So, logic would dictate that I should speak to him and guess what, I DID! We get in real deep with his upbringing in Long Island, being bullied and we get to the bottom of the band signing to Drive Thru Records…or did they? Do the damn thing and listen up to this rad, wide-ranging interview. Use our Amazon Affiliate Code to support the show!

Episode 248 - Every week it blows my mind you all keep listening, but thank you. We have a great chat today with Tom May, the guitarist/vocalist from Scranton, PA’s punk hero’s, The Menzingers. We dive into his life in the suburbs, his early touring life and preconceived notions about the differences between the punk and hardcore scene. Their new LP, “After The Party” is one of my favorites of this year and it deserves your attention. Use our Amazon Affiliate Code to support the show!

Yahoo! Kevin Jordan from This Wild Life is hanging out with us today. We turn over every rock and speak about how the band got hooked up with Epitaph Records, this being his “last” chance to make it in music, intimacy at shows and the secret behind being in a band (spoiler alert: hustle). Frankly, this was a nice and relaxing chat that I didn’t expect to have with Kevin but I am sure glad I did. Enjoy! Use our Amazon Affiliate Code to support the show!

Better late than never! One of my musical heroes, Jack Grisham is on the show today. He’s the vocalist for legendary punk provocateurs, TSOL, as well as one of Epiptah’s most underrated bands, The Joykiller. We hung out in his haunted house (for real!) and we discussed his life in and out of punk, how he remains engaged and never growing tired of finding new avenues of self-expression. We go deep into all areas of his life so strap in and enjoy! Use our Amazon Affiliate Code to support the show!

Episode 244 - As strange as it is to say it, it’s equally as strange for me to type it but Blasko the bass player of Ozzy Osbourne is on the show today. He’s a good friend of mine from us working together when I was at Century Media Records. He also manages a ton of bands including Black Veil Brides and hosts his own podcast called MANAGEMETAL that I urge you to check out. In any event, we discuss surreal “rock” moments, playing as a hired fun and determination. He’s got a great attitude and I loved having this discussion. Enjoy! Episode 243 - This guest has been on my “to speak to” list for quite some time and finally, I got him. Carley Coma the vocalist from hardcore/metal/jazz band, Candiria hung out with me over Skype and we really got into it. We spoke about living and growing up in New York City (the REAL city), his bands horrific van accident and diverse musical influences. He’s an incredibly compelling individual and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Use our Amazon Affiliate Code to support the show!

Each day is one day closer to the end of our 45th president. Fortunately, we have a great discussion with Stephen Cobucci from Wolves at the Gate on the podcast today. We dive deep into poor Christian music substitutes, the balance between tour and “real” life back at home and the life of a mid-level band. Please relax for a moment with me while we all distract ourselves from the nightmare onslaught of news. Enjoy! Use our Amazon Affiliate Code to support the show!
